Return & Refund Policy
At Wood Floors Online, we want you to shop with complete confidence. Our returns and refunds policy is designed to be clear, fair, and transparent, while protecting the quality of the flooring products we supply.
Please read the information below carefully before placing your order.
Leftover / Unused Flooring
If you have unused packs remaining after installation, we may accept them for return subject to the following conditions:
Returns must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date, in line with our terms and conditions.
A 20% restocking fee will be applied.
Returned goods must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
Partial packs cannot be accepted.
Products must be in resaleable, “as new” condition. Damaged or poorly packaged items will not be credited.
You are responsible for the cost and arrangement of return delivery. Original delivery charges are non-refundable.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of goods at our warehouse.
If you request us to arrange a collection, the goods must be securely wrapped and protected to prevent damage in transit. Collection costs will be charged to you.
Products Not Eligible for Return
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:
Bespoke, made-to-order, or special-order products
Clearance or trade-only items
Non-stock items sourced specifically for your order
Products that have been cut, installed, modified, or handled beyond inspection
Damaged or Missing Goods on Delivery
Please check your delivery carefully upon arrival.
If goods arrive damaged or incomplete, you must sign for the delivery as “damaged” or “short delivered”.
Claims marked as “unchecked” cannot be accepted.
Photographic evidence must be taken at the time of delivery.
All damage or shortages must be reported to us within 4 days of delivery.
Once approved, we will arrange a replacement at the earliest available delivery date.
In most cases, you will not be required to return damaged packs once your claim has been accepted.
Faulty or Manufacturing Defects

Changing Your Mind (Consumer Rights)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order:
Within 14 days of receiving your order (or the final delivery if shipped in multiple parts).
You must notify us of cancellation within this period.
Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in a resaleable condition.
Products must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Please note: bespoke and special-order items are excluded from this cancellation right.
If you are unable to arrange your own return delivery, we can organise collection on your behalf. This will be at your cost and risk.
How to Return Items
Before returning any goods:
Contact our customer service team to obtain a return authorisation number.
Clearly label each returned package with:
The return number
Sender and recipient details
Ensure items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.
