At Wood Floors Online, we aim to deliver your flooring quickly, safely, and reliably anywhere in the UK. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our delivery process, timescales, and responsibilities.
Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to mainland UK addresses.
If you require delivery to offshore locations, remote areas, or special access sites, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and costs.
Delivery Times
Standard delivery times are typically 3–7 working days, depending on the product and delivery location.
Some made-to-order, bespoke, or non-stock items may require longer lead times.
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout or confirmed after your order is placed.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by stock availability, weather conditions, or courier delays.
We will contact you if there are any unexpected delays.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on:
Order size and weight
Product type
Delivery location
Any applicable delivery fees will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase.
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable, even if goods are returned.
Delivery Method
Flooring orders are usually delivered via pallet or specialist courier services.
Deliveries are typically made kerbside only, meaning the driver will unload the goods at the nearest accessible point.
Couriers are not permitted to carry goods inside your property.
Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery.
Access & Site Conditions
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
The delivery address is correct and accessible
There is suitable access for large delivery vehicles
Any restrictions (such as narrow roads, parking limits, or time constraints) are communicated in advance
Failed deliveries due to access issues may result in additional delivery charges.
Checking Your Delivery
We strongly advise you to inspect your delivery before signing:
Check the number of packs and condition of the goods.
If there is any visible damage or missing items, sign for the delivery as “damaged” or “short delivered”.
Do not sign as “unchecked” — this may invalidate claims.
Any damage or shortages must be reported to us within 4 days of delivery, along with photographic evidence.
Delayed or Missed Deliveries
While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
We cannot accept liability for delays caused by third-party couriers.
We recommend not booking installers or fitters until your flooring has been delivered and checked.
Storage After Delivery
Once delivered, goods become the customer’s responsibility.
Flooring should be stored indoors, flat, dry, and in suitable conditions prior to installation.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by improper storage after delivery.
